New Recruitment Procedure Proves a Success
Hayward Miller have recently introduced a new seven step recruitment process based around ActionCOACH principles. We believe in recruiting the right people, at the right time, for the right job roles. The four key principles are:
- The more the merrier – a larger pool of applicants makes it more likely you will hire the right person
- Multiple screening levels – no time wasting
- Test the waters – no surprises on the first day
- Always assess – i.e. with psychometric profiles
By using this new recruitment process we have successfully hired an excellent new addition to our telemarketing team in Fleur Morrison.
Fleur is an experienced telemarketer who has worked on behalf of companies in sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Technical and Finance. Fleur originally started a career in childcare, having competed a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. She then briefly worked as a Care Assistant before moving into the world of telemarketing, which she loves and has now worked in for several years. Fleur’s background in care work has provided her with excellent people skills, communication and patience.
On being asked why she wanted to work for Hayward Miller, having met some of the team, Fleur said, “I love the idea of working within in team such as yours! The support you have for each other within the team has really touched me. I would love the opportunity to work for HML and to help you continue to grow as a business.”
With her experience working for other companies who “white label”, Fleur has settled in quickly and with her infectious smile, has already become a valued addition to the team. Although our new recruitment process is lengthy, is has certainly been a success and we will continue with it as we grow the team throughout the year.
