Hayward Miller’s Business Development Team Grows
With Britain’s largest bi-annual defence and security exhibition just weeks away (DSEi, London, 15th – 18th September), specialist interim sales and training consultancy, Hayward Miller’s business development team grows with the appointment of Nancy Pallares as its Business Development Manager.
Already well known in the defence industry – and particularly amongst the chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) community, Nancy Pallares will help to build Hayward Miller’s existing and future business with the Tier 2, Tier 3 and below supply chains, much of which is based around SMEs. Most recently, she has been working with a specialist engineering and integration contractor, supporting UK MoD and Primes on a range of programmes including UORs (Urgent Operational Requirements).
Welcoming Nancy to the Hayward Miller team, Founder Managing Director, Andrew Hayward says, “Hayward Miller and its clients are very fortunate that Nancy has joined us at this crucial time. Market conditions in the UK defence and security industry are such that companies have to look to international and emerging markets for their future growth. Nancy’s knowledge and experience of key overseas markets – added to her language fluency and cultural understanding in several of these, will be an enormous asset”.
Nancy Pallares says, “Supply chains rely particularly on strong and innovative SMEs – but many of these companies do not have the internal resources for business development at the highly specialist or international level. That’s where Hayward Miller’s strength in interim sales and training can play a vital role and I look forward to working with Andy and the team to help clients climb to the next level of their aspirations”.
